Our Favourite Third Party Merchant Account Processors
Posted on 06. Mar, 2009 by admin in Merchant Article, Third Party Merchant
It is a very difficult decision to actually choose the best third (3rd part), or as we call them “small fish” merchant account.
There are many, and I mean many around, it’s just a matter of deciding what is best for their purposes.
The good news is that only a few are head and shoulders above the rest because of its value, well-known name (must be synonymous with a large security company that is not taken by tomorrow with all of your income) and additional benefits at no charge.
At the time of writing is our favorite … Clickbank is here “in the trenches” Clickbank …
Clickbank is one of the most reliable and well known companies when it comes to the transformation of others.
Unlike many third-party processors that accept international traders so if you are outside the U.S., you can still apply.
What’s more, the registration procedure is fast and simple, following their basic guidelines, almost anyone can get their own account and start accepting credit cards on your website.
So what sets apart from the competition Clickbank?
Well, first of all, your money is paid every two weeks instead of once per month, with many of its competitors, which gives you positive cash flow much faster, and lets you build your business quickly.
Secondly, Clickbank merchants have full use of their own membership. So not only can set a merchant account, but you can start your own affiliate system to boot, that will help you build your business faster, too.
Some other third party merchant account processors have the ability to be used with the affiliate software, but it must be rented separately (as opposed to the monthly cost of Clickbank).
It also executes half Affiliate scheme involves receiving payments in your bank account then write and publish commission checks (many successful systems affiliates now have over 10,000 members).
Clickbank, on the other hand, work out exactly what each of its members has earned, and then deducted the value of its sales and sends the checks directly - without having to lift a finger. And when your check arrives, all their money.
Imagine what a huge saving of time and energy will become every day to pay as your business grows.
I also like the way that once you have a Clickbank account (registration is free) you can join other affiliate schemes merchants who use Clickbank, and receive commissions for all the different companies and products in a control which again saves time and money when the bank checks.
Finally, it is a great bonus is that Clickbank has been around long enough that software developers have created special programs for use with Clickbank, making the website even more powerful.
Delivery of digital products software, affiliate management, password creation software, ebook programs and more. All this makes for a fantastic system.
However, as I said before, using a third party merchant account processor is not as good as through its own merchant account so I think in all fairness I’d better list of the disadvantages of this configuration.
First, there has been a disturbing trend of the reports appear to suggest that late refuses Clickbank perfectly valid credit cards - and we know they are valid, either because they are new, but activated cards, processors or other traders have accepted the same card for a purchase option only minutes later.
Does this have a lasting effect on their sales? We’ll have to wait and see at this time unfortunately. We intend to publish a full article on the subject in the very near future.
It is also important to note that Clickbank does not accept the companies selling “digital products - ebooks, downloadable software, subscriptions to password protected websites and similar.
However, if you’re planning to sell the “real world” products - computers, jeans, sofas or washing liquid, a merchant well worth watching is 2checkout.
So why not take a look now - but do not miss the opportunity to see our real merchant account if you qualify!
